Local police have been intensifying monitors on traffics at the northern coast Java high (Pantura) following fatal terrorist blast in Jakarta.Adj. Sr. Comr. Ary Laksmana Wijaya, chief of Cirebon City Police, West Java, said that the measures were taken to prevent escaping terrorists from Jakarta through the highway.
Ary said that local police are stopping and searching vehicles on the highway.
The police are also beefing up security on important places, including seaports and power facilities. (dre)
